DC Moto Flyer Pinup

Above is the base for what will be a new flyer I’m designing for DC Moto. The way I designed the business card for the company made me think of retro styles and what could be more retro than a pinup model? I searched for some mechanic-related images and liked the look of this one I came across: mechanic pinup

Next step: photo shoot. Once I get an image to start from, I am going to get to work with the colored pencils and draw my own pinup image to place on the flyer. I am pretty excited about this one as I have always liked the uniqueness of the pinup artwork and pencil/paper is one of, if not my favorite mediums!

Celebrate Huron

So, it was decided that the focus would shift more towards celebrating the town of Huron and less on the casino theme. I already had the thought to use the Las Vegas sign as the main event focus on the front page, so it actually worked to incorporate the theme, without going too overboard…I hope. So I didn’t get to draw on the inspiration from the video below, but I think it turned out pretty good so far. Right now I have two versions of the front side. Will add final version to portfolio page! That was a fun one to work on again. Click on the links below to view the design so far…
